The table is inspired by the fluidity and viscosity of honey. The geometry of the elliptical top with rounded corners rises under an organic base, wavy and asymmetrical where each face presents a new perspective of the whole. When walking around the table the sensation brought to mind resembles the moment where the spoon is turned right before the honey falls so as not to lose it, as if the shape slipped from one side of the base to the other. The table was made of solid wood finished with natural oil. For the base strip planking is used a naval carpentry technique in which all strips have half-circle male/ female fittings, allowing them to curve while connecting and resulting in a smooth, homogeneous surface.
