Mar de Cobre is a sculptural piece and is the result of the observation, admiration, and enjoyment of the sea. It serves as a tangible testimony of the social and cultural context. Made by master craftsmen from Santa Clara del Cobre, Michoacán, with casting techniques of scraps recovered from different workshops, this process allows us to almost completely reduce the waste and improve the residual impact of these metals. The swell in each piece is different and unique.
As it is a metallic material and a natural stone, cleaning care is mandatory with a dry dust cloth. The piece is only designed to support its own weight.
