    Leaky Lamp III is crafted from graphite biomaterial, glass, and charred ash, exploring translucency, transformation, and raw materiality. Molten, chaotic drips defy the otherwise delicate composition, blurring the line between the grotesque and the sublime. Unlit, the piece reads as solid and opaque; lit, its translucency emerges, revealing a quiet dialogue between shadow and glow.

    Unlike the other pieces in the series, Leaky Lamp III is made without moulds or a rigid plan — each one is shaped by chance, intuition, and the evolving relationship between Pablo Ejarque-González, the biomaterial, and the light itself.
