Description

Characterized by clean cuts, the clay is literally shaped and sliced by the potter’s own hand. The design is minimal, inspired by Japanese aesthetics—the birthplace of the Raku technique used here.
This technique highlights the beauty and harmony of simple objects. During the firing process, cracks and unique colors emerge, making each piece truly precious.
The aesthetic core of Raku ceramics is wabi-sabi: an ideal of beauty found in imperfection and the passage of time.
In Raku firing, it is the glaze and the smoke that determine the texture of the vases.
The Cut vases are available in three finishes: Raku Clear, Smoked Black, and Naked Dark with a marble-like effect.

The vase is entirely handcrafted in Italy through the expertise of two different artisans — one responsible for wheel-throwing and the other for glazing and Raku firing.
