Seating series using stainless steel wires in a knitted structure, inspired by the stockinette knitting in textile.
One wire is too weak they will deform, but combined together they make of sturdy resistance.
Unlike conventional welded meshes, these structures use a hook-in method to interlock loops – thus no welding is required.
For other metal meshes, the pressure is focused onto a certain area.
With the knitted structure surface, the pressure is distributed evenly across the whole surface – being flexible and more stable, and giving a soft interaction like a cushion.
Sustainability is built into the design :
made entirely from stainless steel(mono-material), the seating is highly recyclable yet remains lightweight since it’s made of thin wires – allowing less material usage. The knitted structure is clipped onto the frame without any permanent fixtures, making them eternally replaceable and repairable.
