Description

This vase is an object created using 3D printing techniques, completed through a fusion of digital craftsmanship and handcrafting. The artist transforms the printed base shape into ascending curves using a heat-forming process, giving each piece a unique sense of vitality. Combining precise digital technology with artisanal techniques, this work explores sculptural beauty through organic forms inspired by nature. It functions not only as a practical vase but also as a sculptural art object that enhances and enlivens the space it inhabits.

Produced as a limited edition of 30 pieces per color, each vase is uniquely distinct due to the slight variations in line shapes introduced during the heat-forming process. By blending digital innovation with traditional methods, this piece bridges contemporary design with artisanal craftsmanship, offering an artistic experience that transcends simple forms and redefines the relationship between the viewer and their environment.

The production time varies depending on circumstances and may take 3 to 14 days. Due to the nature of the work, the shape may slightly differ, and there could be a size variation of 2-4 cm.

This vase includes an inner glass container, allowing for practical use while maintaining its sculptural aesthetics. Please avoid direct sunlight to preserve the piece’s beauty for a long time.

About Greem Jeong Visit Showroom →

Greem Jeong is a multidisciplinary artist and designer whose work spans sculpture, furniture, and installation art, exploring the interplay between materials, forms, and space. She believes that art should do more than simply occupy space—it should engage with it, creating new experiences and meanings. Guided by this philosophy, she transforms lines into fluid, three-dimensional expressions that redefine and reimagine space. Inspiring her to experiment with materials and discover new forms. Jeong often works with industrial materials, reinterpreting them into organic, intuitive shapes that challenge their conventional utilitarian purpose. Her signature pieces include knot-based sculptures, flowing lines, and translucent forms that interact dynamically with light and space. These works transcend their roles as static objects, instead becoming elements that organically connect with their surroundings and invite viewers to engage. By blurring the boundaries between function and form, she reimagines everyday objects—chairs, mirrors, and lights—as both practical items and artistic experiences. Recently, Greem has been incorporating traditional Korean mother-of-pearl inlay techniques into her work, blending them with modern technologies like 3D printing. This fusion of past and present opens up new possibilities, combining the delicate intricacy of traditional craftsmanship with the innovative potential of contemporary methods. The result is a body of work that bridges cultural heritage and modernity, adding depth and richness to her creative practice.
