Description

This ceramic side table sits between function and art. Designed for everyday use, it also stands out through its form and its white glazed surface marked with black dots.
Beyond its practical purpose, it acts as a visual element that shapes the space and draws attention. The piece is part of a series exploring the overlap between functional furniture and sculptural objects, questioning the clear line between design and art.

LATESS is an artist and designer working across objects, painting and installation. Her recent practice has focused on ceramic sculptures that often appear in dialogue with everyday furniture and daily objects.
