The Prisma Table Lamp in Imbuia is part of DONÓ‘s MASSIVA collection, which explores the relationship between geometry, matter and light. Its precise, slender structure supports the density of the dome-shaped ornament above.
Conical feet touch the ground with minimal contact, while four polished stainless-steel tubes connect the feet, plates and top caps into one continuous, rigid structure. The removable dome is formed from facets of solid, hand-textured Imbuia wood; undulations run across its surface, and square cut-outs, hand-chiselled into the wood, are filled with amber resin.
The interplay between wood and resin creates different depths across the surface. Unlit, the resin stays opaque and dense; switched on, it turns translucent, letting light pass through the cut-outs.
Made to order at DONÓ’s atelier, the lamp comes with a certificate of authenticity. Fitted for a Halopin LED lamp, max. 5W, G9 socket, with earthed wiring, an in-line switch on the flex, and a plug type adapted to the destination market.
