Made from solid pressed Moso bamboo, this nightstand highlights the studio’s commitment to eco-conscious design by utilizing one of the most sustainable materials available.

    Through an advanced pressing process, Moso bamboo is transformed into a dense, durable wood timber that functions like traditional hardwood, ensuring long-lasting beauty and resilience. Its clean lines and natural finish exude minimalist elegance while allowing the organic texture of the bamboo to shine through.

    To enhance symmetry and adaptability, the Noura Nightstand is available in “Left” and “Right” configurations. When facing the nightstand, the “Right” style features the door on the right side, while the “Left” style places the door on the left—perfect for creating a balanced, cohesive look on either side of the bed.

    With its sustainable materials, precise craftsmanship, and timeless design, the Noura Nightstand by Sun at Six offers a harmonious blend of practicality and modern sophistication for any living space.

    Sun at Six is a furniture design studio focused on exploring the role that physical spaces play in our everyday choices and how we interact with others. A space - room, house, balcony, meadow, mountainside, clifftop - is an emotionally evocative entity, capable of arousing and shaping moods, actions, and feelings. From the moment you step foot within it, a space can influence your relationship with yourself and others. Furniture, and how it’s arranged, facilitates this: a deep sofa encourages you to sink back, relax in conversation, and unwind. A shallow, upright chair facilitates sharpness and focus. We seek to actualize furniture that, in conjunction with the space you design, evoke feelings that nourish the relationships that matter to you. We are a family run studio and factory with a commitment to maintaining classical Chinese joinery, a system which uses intricate, interwoven joints to create solid hardwood furniture without the use of any nails or screws. By applying it to contemporary forms, we hope to preserve this fading traditional art form.
