Description

Mayate draws on the image of an iridescent beetle from the dense lowland jungle, known in folklore as the Guardian of Light for a brilliance said to illuminate the jungle’s darkest paths. That story is translated into hand-blown, kiln-formed glass by artist Ehecatl in Cuernavaca, using traditional Mexican artisanal glassmaking techniques.

Available in gold or silver finish, and can be produced to match the electrical specifications of any country. It can be configured either as a wall-mounted piece or as a table pedestal lamp.
