    Description

    The “Fetish” collection by Soledre is inspired by the fetish world, utilizing materials such as latex, wax and leather. Just like our the human body, these objects are delicate and require proper aftercare in order to thrive.

    This vase was casted in translucent paraffin wax using a specific process to achieve an “ombre” finish, its surface was then textured using heat giving it a melted look.

    The vase is watertight and can hold water, it should not be directly exposed to intense sunlight or kept in temperatures exceeding 47 Celsius (117 Fahrenheit).

    I’m a French multidisciplinary designer working in Toulouse. My practice of design is not tied to any specific materials although I do use ceramics and terrazzo as a unifying element throughout my collections. These collections feature narratives that take the form of images, texts, videos and music. These are aiming to immerse the viewer in subjects such as (pre)history, (science)fiction and traditional cultures.
