Description

The Eclipse Lamp by Niles Fromm embodies an exploration of organic shapes and surface textures. Its foundational structure is meticulously carved from pine wood, serving as a canvas for artistic expression. The lamp undergoes a multi-step transformation, beginning with the application of four distinct hues of chalk paint. An intriguing interplay of colors and textures emerges as artisans deftly sand and scrape through the layers of paint, unveiling the concealed depths within.

To enhance its allure, the lamp is finished with a wax coating that not only protects but also enriches the tactile experience. It stands upon a patinaed steel base, grounding the piece in an elegant contrast of materials. The Eclipse Lamp stands as a testament to the fusion of craftsmanship, aesthetics, and nature-inspired design.
