Description

A sculptural serving stand and tray defined by flowing contours and balanced proportion. Designed to elevate everyday gestures, Four transforms serving into a composed landscape of form and light. The Luminous Satin finish introduces a refined micro-textured surface that softly diffuses reflection while preserving clarity and durability.

A Trace Of The Unseen is the special edition of the Contour collection. The intention is not to decorate a surface, but to make a gesture visible, bring a form to light and reveal what lies beneath the surface. Through mechanical engraving, Domenico Liberti’s drawings become part of Boyo’s trays while retaining the immediacy of the original mark.

Each Boyo Contour object is produced in Italy from food-grade AISI 304 (18/10) stainless steel through collaboration with specialized metal workshops. The production process combines industrial precision with manual expertise, allowing each form to retain accuracy while preserving the sensitivity of hand finishing. Working with food-grade stainless steel, every piece undergoes multiple stages of shaping, polishing, and surface refinement. Subtle variations remain a natural result of this process, reflecting the material and the human hand involved in its making.

The Contour Collection celebrates the elegance of outlines. Each stainless steel piece is defined by soft, wave-like edges that play with rhythm, light, and shadow, while remaining grounded in pure functionality — adaptable in use, yet consistent in form. Designed as contemporary centerpieces for the table, the collection offers an architectural presence softened by fluid lines and a refined surface quality. Available in Silk Mirror and Luminous Satin finishes, Contour reflects enduring craftsmanship, precision, and timeless design integrity. More than objects, these serving stands and trays are timeless companions for living and sharing.

About Studio Boyo Visit Showroom →

With flowing lines and a gentle presence, Boyo transforms everyday gestures into quiet celebrations of form and feeling. Rooted in fashion and shaped through years of working with paper as a medium of study, Studio Boyo now focuses on refined metal objects. Each object draws from the essential geometry of paper patterns — an homage to its tailoring origins and a continued investigation into contour, balance, and proportion. Designed in Milan and produced in Italy, Boyo is led by Yugoslavian-born designer Bojana Nikodijevic Liberti, whose direction shapes the precise character of every design. Boyo approaches objects as spatial elements - exploring how contour, elevation and material presence shape everyday rituals.
