Just as the land is plowed for new planting, objects are also revisited in search of new airs. The Arado collection is composed of two lines: table objects and stools. The pieces explore materialities and techniques of traditional objects that, in a way, represent the Minas Gerais culture: enameled dishes and country stools. The reinterpretation made by Estúdio Dentro proposes an update in the use of these traditional typologies.
In the table objects, the enameled dishes are the central narrative. They create containers for objects, fruits or even flowers. The wood pieces serve as a base for the delicate enameled surface and are common for all the pieces of this collection, varriying only in their shape, giving each object a unique personality.
The stools and side tables in this collection are produced in solid wood or casted metal. The project came from an experimentation of triangular shapes and cutouts that are common in country stools. The repetition, the rythm and strenght of these cutouts give the pieces a timeless freshness. Different dimensions and shapes enrich the collection, allowing the pieces to be utilized as stools or as side tables.
