FUM – meaning “smoke” in Romanian – is a ceramic candle holder designed and made by Romanian-British artist Catalin Filip. Its form draws from the quiet, suspended motion of smoke as it rises and disperses.
Made from red terracotta stoneware with a natural, textural finish, the piece has a warm, earthy presence. FUM functions both as a candle holder and as a sculptural object in its own right. It fits seamlessly into clean, minimal interiors and spaces that value craft and form.
