Boba – Mini shelf I is part of the eponymous collection by Curvy World Studio. A collection that draws its inspiration from spherical shapes and the world of space exploration.
Boba explores and plays with symmetry, geometry and composition, using pure shapes such as circles and arcs, as well as the rhythm of full and empty spaces. Boba is the imprint of a phantasmagorical universe where dreamlike shapes outline a new environment, a new space.
Boba is handcrafted from hemp bio-concrete using a traditional technique developed in the studio. The material is sculpted and comes to life through shapes and textures that are both smooth and rocky, the relief of a fantasised and dreamt beauty. The piece is produced in an edition of 8, signed and numbered.
