The tressed NoAr stool is an extension of the work that Carol has been developing with recycled rubber from the tyre industry called “air-bladder tyre-rubber”. The seat is braided and sewn by hand, with industrial recycled rubber, the base in coated metal is a folding structure, that focus on sustainability, enabling the transportation using flat pack packaging. It is also stackable to save space in compact environments. There was used only two rubber strips to make the seat, minimising the use of material. It was exhibited during the design week in Milan 2016.
