Chowa. This piece is part of the “constructive” series. Chowa is the piece that most materializes the balance that is sought to be reflected in the series. It evokes a childlike exercise when approaching geometric shapes. A simple yet well-balanced exercise.
The sculpture is decorative as well as functional as a vase. It is made of artisanal clay, sourced from a farm near the city where the the Mirrón Studio workshop is located, and fired at 1180 degrees Celsius.
The piece comes in 4 colors: cream, oxidized, cream with cobalt, and black.
Due to the fact that the pieces are handmade and painted with natural and artisanal materials, there may be slight variations in color, size, and shine.
