Designer Incense Holders & Burners

Incense holding has become one of the more quietly considered acts in interior design — a small object that carries ritual, scent, and material all at once. Our collection brings together ceramic, brass, marble, volcanic stone, and wood holders from independent designers across 60+ countries. Prices from €35.

Objects That Make the Ritual Visible

The best incense holders don't disappear when not in use. They sit on a shelf, a sideboard, or an altar surface and hold their own as sculptural objects. That standard shapes everything we select here — function is given, form is the deciding factor.

Materials Worth Considering

The collection includes marble and travertine trays, stoneware and earthenware bowls, brass stick holders, aluminium burn plates, and volcanic stone pieces with genuine material presence. Most are made by hand in small quantities. Filter by material to narrow by the texture and weight you're working with.

Incense Burners, Trays, and Stick Holders

The category covers the full range of formats: stick holders for incense sticks and dhoop, flat burn trays for ash collection, deep bowls for charcoal and resin, and multi-use objects that double as candle or scent diffuser holders. Several pieces — including the Anicca Vanitas series and the Altar and Nimia marble objects — sit comfortably at the boundary between incense holder and collected art object.

For Considered Interiors

Every piece on ADORNO is sold directly from the designer's studio, with a transparent profile behind it. If you're specifying for a project or want guidance on what works together, our Trade Program and Curation Service are both available.
