Description

The OKO family is a collection of pieces made of ceramic with an unmistakable artistic panache. Each of the collections to date has made full use of the richness of illustration and its fine lines, the broad strokes of a paintbrush and the depths of multicoloured ceramic glazes. The “ANIELA” platter was created in 2018 and takes its name after the artist’s daughter. It’s a plate made from ceramics with a centrally located handle, known affectionately as the ‘pretzel’. The platter is molded and painted by hand, combining the unique features of craftmanship and functionality.

“FORMS” (2020) is Malwina Konopacka’s latest project. Stylistically it sets itself apart from the graphic decorations and painting-like expression of the previous collections. The walls of the vessels are covered entirely in saturated colours and their gradients in order to, as the name suggests, bring the form into focus.
