Characterized by clean cuts, the clay is literally sliced by the potter himself. The design is minimal, inspired by Japanese aesthetics the birthplace of the Raku technique used here.
This technique enhances the beauty and harmony of simple objects. During the process, unique crackling and colors emerge, making each piece truly precious. The aesthetic core of Raku ceramics is wabi-sabi, an ideal of beauty found in things that are imperfect and marked by time. In Raku firing, it is the glaze and smoke that define the texture of the vessels.
Special limited edition in naked stone-effect finish.
The vase is entirely handcrafted in Italy through the expertise of two different artisans — one responsible for wheel-throwing and the other for glazing and Raku firing.
