Description

Inspired by the fluidity and unpredictability of nature, the unique fruit bowl challenges conventional design.

Rather than conforming to straight lines and rigid structures, the fruit bowl embraces the organic chaos of the natural world. Composed of just a few essential elements – the design invites playful interaction.
Every arrangement becomes a celebration of nature’s beauty and complexity,
encouraging users to engage with their fruit in a dynamic and intuitive way.

This Powder coated Steel Bowl is made in a small family owned Metal Workshop near my hometown in Leipzig.
It is hand welded.
Not suitable for washing mashine, clean with a damp cloth.

About WeraJane Design Visit Showroom →

IWJ is a product designer whose work focuses on enhancing the enjoyment of everyday objects. Inga-Wera-Jane Heymann explores the rituals, gestures, and performance of daily life. Her studio blends functional art with design, producing work that ranges from collectible pieces to practical objects. Each creation thoughtfully reflects the relationship between people, their environments, and the materials they interact with. Her lamps are entirely handmade and made to order. The painted structural frames are crafted by a local metal workshop, while Heymann weaves them by hand in her studio using Italian cotton thread. Available in a variety of sizes and styles—ranging from pendants to table lamps—each piece is unique. The lamps' angular, vase-like forms range from shallow, "flying saucer" shapes to more elongated lanterns, evoking a sense of both modernity and tradition. Color particularly is in the moment. I approach my lamp design like freestyle painting or drawing: once I start, the process flows naturally. What I love most about my lamps is their endless possibilities. By changing just the shape and color, you can create something classic or something bold and striking—all within the same production process. At rest, my lamps are quiet art pieces that fit seamlessly into your home. As light fills the room, my lamps shift from art objects to functional highlights, shaping the atmosphere.
