De Vita Ad Vitam, designed by Yury Goncharov, draws on layered cultural and spiritual archetypes. Its form echoes the contours of Lake Kinneret — a place associated with healing, transformation, and biblical narratives. The conceptual journey follows the path of water: from Kinneret through the Jordan River to the Dead Sea — a passage of renewal and change. This geography becomes metaphor — a movement from reflection to transformation.
Materials reinforce this narrative.
The mirror itself represents “living water” — pure and infinite.
Flowing tin extends from it like the Jordan — a symbol of transition.
Walnut, grounding the composition, evokes the Dead Sea — density, stillness, and resilience.
Subtle details deepen the experience: ripples of tin form delicate “water rings,” marking time and impermanence. Turquoise resin creates depth, while suspended steel spheres resemble droplets frozen mid-motion. The polished walnut base adds warmth and tactility, inviting physical interaction.
