Description

Inspired by Calder’s chiseled jewels, this sculptural teapot in ceramic gives volume to cut-out shapes. Like an architect’s model.
Over the years, Laetitia Perrin has developed a series of pieces dedicated to the table and interiors. Some of these pieces have become emblematic for their architectural forms, textures, and colors, which result from combinations of glazes, engobes, oxides, and ashes.
Learning ceramics takes patience, and these pieces are the result of long-term research, experimentation, and daring. The studio now has a permanent collection of functional containers that can be made to order.

Tea can be put directly in the teapot. There is a perforated surface between the teapot body and the spout.
The teapot is not glazed inside.

About Laetitia Perrin Studio Visit Showroom →

Laetitia Perrin, architect DPLG, has devoted over twenty years of her career to Louis Vuitton's architecture department. Here, she was responsible for the design and implementation of some sixty stores worldwide, working on a variety of elements such as volumes, light, materials, murals, furniture and FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment). From initial conception to final implementation, these projects offered her the opportunity to collaborate with a variety of designers, craftsmen and cultures, enriching her creative and technical approach. She subsequently took charge of concept and furniture development, as well as materials research and development and artisan sourcing. Since 2006, Laetitia Perrin has trained in ceramics with Patricia Vieljeux in her Paris workshop, while deepening her mastery through training in high-temperature enamel creation and passing a CAP in ceramic turning. This path, nourished by research, experimentation and constant audacity, has enabled her to explore shapes, materials and textures in depth Founded in 2024 in Paris and Pantin, Laetitia Perrin Studio is both a design agency and a craft manufacturing workshop. Specializing in collectible furniture, lighting fixtures and ceramic objects, the studio transforms raw material into exceptional materials to give life to free, functional forms, often imbued with an architectural dimension. The studio's creations, all unique, include a variety of pieces: murals, furniture, lighting, bas-reliefs, tableware and exceptional objects. These works, both diversified and rich in materiality, weave a singular link between craftsmanship, art and architecture. The studio also offers a catalog of ceramic textures, designed to meet the needs of its customers' projects.
