Established in 2011 by Salvador Compañ, Lørdag & Søndag is a distinguished studio rooted in Mexico City. Celebrating Mexico's rich artisanal heritage, the studio brings to the forefront traditional techniques that have been passed down through generations of master artisans. Their creations, referred to as "Artefactos," draw inspiration from both ancient and contemporary Mexican culture, seamlessly blending elements from archaeology to modern art.
Guided by the vision of the Compañ brothers, Salvador and Enzo, the studio deeply collaborates with artisans from diverse communities across Mexico, ensuring that each piece is an exquisite fusion of pristine aesthetics and enduring design. Since its inception, Lørdag & Søndag has proudly partnered with distinguished artisans from regions such as Oaxaca, Chiapas, Estado de México, Veracruz, Guanajuato, Hidalgo, Guerrero, and Campeche, emphasizing the studio's commitment to preserving and promoting Mexico's vibrant craft traditions.
