Solid oak stool. Made of scrap pieces upcycled and assembled with traditional joinery. Burned, ebonized and oiled.
This stool is the result of both chance and serendipity. For this type of piece, the last discarded pieces of wood are used, without intentional choice, and assembled without premeditation; like the automatic, stream-of-conscience writing of the surrealists. Fruit of chaos and daydreams, fruit of the moment. Leaving the ego aside, giving life to a unique piece.
Solid French oak, traditional hand cut joinery, hand sculpted parts and handturned parts. Burned to the surface then ebonized with shopmade iron actetate. Linen oil.
