Impressive size chandelier, “made of air”.‎ MEGASTAR is inspired by traditional crystal chandeliers but redefined using modern technology.‎ This chandelier is constructed from the Bubbles® system developed by PUFF-BUFF: air-filled parts in transparent electronically-welded PVC and LEDs. Despite its size, the chandelier is extremely lightweight so it can decorate a variety of interiors, even those with delicate ceiling structure. The beauty of the Megastar is protected with UV filter in hi-quality PVC (made in Germany) – it preserves a transparency of bubbles through the years. Frame is in polished stainless-steel. Low-voltage transformer is hidden in the steel ceiling rose.‎

STARS is a collection of spherical lamps made using the unique Bubbles technology.‎ Years of experiments, many trials and prototypes, all resulted the creation of these unusual lamps.‎ The first was the Star, designed in 2004, then came the Superstar and further Stars followed.‎ The last, in 2016, was the smallest, Starlette.‎ The biggest catalogue piece is GIGASTAR with 180cm diameter.
These lamps are suited to both residential and public spaces.‎ The Bubbles combine a unique technology made up of air, special flexible PVC (made in Germany), stainless steel, and LEDs.‎ The main component of these unusual lamps remains the air, which makes them extremely lightweight.‎

The lamp is available in three shades of led-light: warm-white (2700K), neutral-white (3500K), cool-white (6500K).‎
Light source: 260 x LED BUBBLES® modules – each bubble has its own light-point.
In case of perforation of single bubble it can be aesily replaced with a spare one (the system is modular).
For request lamp can be made with dimmer, with remote controller. Can be also custom-made with light in various colors (apart of three white shades available). Sling lenght can be also made longer for request. Recyclable. Made in Poland. Technical specification, manual and 3D model available.

PUFF-BUFF was founded in 2004 by Anna Siedlecka (designer, experimenter, design curator) and Radek Achramowicz (designer, architect, lecturer). Founders of PUFF BUFF are actively involved in the design and production and devoted to idea of lightweight light. All PUFF-BUFF lamps are finally assembled by hand in a studio-lab in Warsaw with love and lots of care for each detail. PUFF-BUFF’s flagship lighting system the Bubbles, enables production of custom-made lighting, including large-size ones. These XXL structures are in fact PUFF-Buff's speciality. The biggest chandelier made till now was 8m high (26 ft). This result is waiting to be beaten :-)
