Description

A unique collaboration between Studio Aristotelis Barakos and Aumorfia, the Hecate lighting collection unveils a captivating blend of modern elegance and ancient mysticism. A tabletop lamp, a floor lamp, and a pendant lamp are meticulously handcrafted from pieces of sumptuous leather, stitched along the edges to form a modern interpretation of a tripod with a radiant sphere suspended within.
Each piece is handcrafted in Athens and references the esoteric symbolism of antiquity while celebrating contemporary aesthetics and an artisanal spirit.

This lamp can be customized and work in any country.

Materiality infused with emotions. The human touch guides each piece we create, crafting unique objects that carry enduring stories. Our work is rooted in Greece’s artisanal tradition, creating honest, timeless designs that merge modern elegance with heritage. Designed to last, every object is handmade with carefully chosen, high-quality materials, balancing beauty and timelessness. An honest thinker and a dedicated maker, Aristotelis Barakos is a product designer based in Athens, Greece, known for his meticulous, hands-on approach. He creates furniture, lighting, decorative items and other design objects, for both interior and outdoor spaces, that enhance environments visually and emotionally. Born in Munich in 1984 into a family of menswear tailors, he developed a sharp eye for detail early on. Moving to Athens at ten, he absorbed a blend of cultural influences that continue to shape his vision. Initially studying physics, his passion for making led him into the world of design. He started his career with high-tech projects in Shenzhen and a biotechnology startup in San Francisco, before founding Studio Aristotelis Barakos in 2020. The studio was born from his desire to create honest, functional, and aesthetically timeless objects that elevate everyday life and resonate emotionally. Working on its own collection as well as commissions, Studio Aristotelis Barakos brings together storytelling and craftsmanship, merging modern elegance with a respect for heritage. Collaborating with a network of skilled artisans, each piece is handmade from carefully chosen, high-quality materials, designed to achieve enduring beauty. The studio, situated in the creative heart of Athens, welcomes visitors by appointment to experience its signature objects up close. Aristotelis Barakos received the Future Talent award from Ottagono in 2014. His work has gained international acclaim and been widely published.
