Ziroru Studio is a New York-based design practice creating furniture and objects that balance thoughtful functionality with a refined sensibility and a subtle sense of play. Each design seeks to bring a fresh perspective to the familiar by rethinking how things function, appear, and are made. The studio’s debut collection, Linea, launched at ICFF in 2025, received the Domino Good Design Award, and the Glow Coffee Table earned a Special Mention in TIME’s Best Inventions.

Drawing inspiration from nature, local solutions across cultures, and diverse areas of design, the practice approaches creation as a process of reduction, refinement, and problem-solving rather than the pursuit of purely decorative objects. The resulting work is shaped with care for the planet, the senses, and the spaces we inhabit.

Pronounced "Zero Roo" | Ziroru (زیرورو) in Persian literally means "under and over," but as an expression, it signifies transformation.
