MUGEN is a design studio founded in India in 2024 by designer Sana Alam, shaped by a vision to see lighting in its most unseen forms and guided by the belief that craftsmanship is a living, evolving language. The studio bridges India’s artisanal heritage with contemporary design, creating objects that feel both timeless and distinctly modern. Drawing inspiration from nature, MUGEN balances organic textures with geometric clarity, embracing material honesty and intentional imperfection. Working with mixed materials, each piece is crafted to age beautifully over time.
