My knowledge and practice with glassblowing began in the historical glass region of SmÃ¥land, Sweden. It has influenced my work, both in the techniques I use and the aesthetic expressions I deal with. My sculptural works are often created by duplicating or combining simple shapes into homogeneous structures. The direction, the energy and the contrasts of pompous voluminous and restrained stringency are important elements for the objects. The texture surface as well as the possibility to work with shifting transparency and light reflections has also become characteristic of the artefacts I create.Â
