I am a Romanian-born ceramic artist living in London, and my work focuses on elegant vessels that explore the relationship between rhythm, colour, and form. My practice, which focuses mostly on stoneware and porcelain, looks at how a vessel's surface, material, and proportion affect how it is seen and experienced in space.

I am influenced by modernist design and everyday aesthetics. I value restraint, clarity, and the quiet impact of well-resolved design. This philosophy informs my clay practice, where each vessel is shaped with attention, balance, and proportion, and where colour, texture, and surface engage subtly with light and space.

My vessels balance precision with a direct, tactile approach to making. Geometry and gesture meet in forms that carry the trace of the hand while maintaining a strong sense of design. Subtle shifts in line, contour, and surface create a visual flow across each vessel, allowing colour and form to work together as a unified language.

I am particularly drawn to contrast, and colour plays a central role in my work. Through time and playful experimentation, I have developed over 150 glazes, layering them to create depth, subtle variations, and dynamic interactions that emphasise tension, balance, and resonance.

Proportion and surface allow each vessel to develop its own presence. Colour is used with restraint and clarity, often in distinct transitions that emphasise the architecture of the form. Through this approach, my work seeks to create vessels that are both visually composed and emotionally resonant, where material, structure, and colour remain in close dialogue.
