Basis Rho was developed by the studio Jeschkelanger. An artistic material from the remains of international art and architecture productions. Jeschkelanger – themselves glass artists – came across many tons of glass waste, thousands of lumps, each one unique. Each chunk is bound into its own fine concrete recipe and thus becomes an irregular window in the coloured stone.

The Basis Rho LGHT is a small platform for candles to shine bright and to experience the luminescent world of Basis Rho. Each unique candle holder contains a large, three-dimensional glass chunk in multiple colors. The pieces slow down time and create small individual shrines.
