Herbarium-A1 was conceived as an invitation to observe the landscape in its most spontaneous expressions.
Amid asphalt and concrete, along the edges of roads and pathways, wild grasses emerge with quiet persistence, colonising cracks, crevices, and neglected spaces. These seemingly marginal places become small ecosystems, bearing witness to nature’s remarkable ability to adapt, endure, and regenerate.
Often overlooked or dismissed as weeds, these plants embody a discreet yet relentless force: a nature that continues to reclaim its place, even where human intervention has sought to erase it.
Crafted entirely from metal, Herbarium-A1 adopts a restrained formal language, reduced to its essential elements in order to reveal the organic rhythm of vegetal forms. The composition’s apparent disorder conceals a subtle balance, expressing a deeper order—the one that governs natural processes and their inexhaustible capacity to generate life.
Sold as a pair, the pieces can be arranged together or displayed separately, allowing users to create ever-changing compositions on a table or desk.
