The Choice mirror by VIATOV is a piece that captures the essence of Andrea Commodi’s painting ‘The Fall of the Rebel Angels’ with a twist of modernity. In the original artwork, angels are depicted falling after being cursed for rebelling against God. However, the designer envisioned an alternative scenario with a positive twist: if the angels had chosen reverence and praise instead of rebellion, they would be depicted dancing and celebrating the joy and freedom that come from worship and awe, rather than falling. In this reimagined version, the angels are gracefully soaring through the heavens. The air is filled with the harmonious sound of celestial music that elevates their spirits. The angels twirl and glide with pure delight and reverence, creating patterns of light and beauty, leaving trails of sparkling stardust in their wake. Their dance is not just a physical expression but a spiritual one, embodying the essence of joy, unity, and the profound connection they share with the divine.
