Kilim is a very long-lived kind of textile, which can last dozens and even hundreds of years with the proper care.
Sun #72 is a handmade kilim ready to hang on the wall. The whole process of making it took about thirty hours of craftsman work. It’s made out of raw wool, dyed with only natural dyes: logwood, madder root, goldenrod and oak bark. They sometimes tend to fade or change their shade as the time goes by. Kilims age with its owner, present throughout their life.
Every design is made only once and won’t be ever repeated. Each kilim is signed and bears a serial number and the names of the designer and maker. 2% of profits go to charity.
The kilim has sewn-in metal rings so it’s ready to hang on the wall. Please note that the colours and details may vary slightly, due to natural-dyed yarns which may fade out, or due to screen settings.
