The incense holder was an essential element in pre-Hispanic rituals, symbolising an arm of fire that purified the participants and the ceremony space itself with aromatic emanations. Nowadays the incense holder is a tangible testimony of our ancestral culture.
HUMO recovers the principles of communal living, while at the same time allowing us to imagine new rituals that modify the ways of inhabiting everyday spaces.
It is a contemporary incense holder, made by a master craftsman in hammered copper from Santa Clara del Cobre, Michoacán, and turned oak wood.
Incense not included. Wall mounting requires a screw and a wall plug.
As it is a metallic material and a natural wood, cleaning care is mandatory with a dry dust cloth. The piece is only designed to support its own weight.
