Our Wave Form Lamp “Piza”, shown in a Blue Crystalline glaze, is a Leaning Wave Form design, developed with digital precision and subject to the gravity and chemistry of the Kiln. This piece has been handcrafted in our Brooklyn Studio.
The unique form is a consequence of being digitally generated; together with the slow firing of the ceramics, resulting in a unique curled effect where gravity animates the digital form. The glaze work has an incredible depth of color and texture, that will range from cobalt blue crystal and growths all the way to darker hues and brown moments, merging together with the bottom sandy-like textured glaze effect. The crystalline effects and this glaze is unique to each piece as it is a result of its firing properties and hand applications.
