VITRA pendant light was designed for the Atomic collection by Mexican artist Isabel Moncada.
The fascination produced by the light through the colors of the glass, the curved silhouette, and the hand-forged brass are the elements that come together in this composition. The color palette takes us back to the 50’s. It uses a low-watt LED light that lasts up to 18 years and saves 90% of energy consumption.
Forged, brushed, and turned brass parts, amber, red, and smoke blown glass globes.
All of Isabel Moncada’s lighting is UL (Underwriters Laboratories) certified, which ensures a high standard of safety and quality.

Isabel Moncada is a Mexican designer and artist who specializes in the design of lighting and utilitarian art made in her own workshop in Mexico. Through exploring and finessing traditional manufacturing techniques, Isabel has developed her own mechanisms and transformed materials to develop her designs and engrave her personal style.
