Description

Slō’s Trunk Tables in Ice & Red Poison Frog come as a pair. They are hand extruded, black stoneware ceramic side tables that are one-off vessels. Slō uses multiple layers of glaze to create the blue pattern on the top of each piece allowing for a striking contrast between the blue spots and their regal red base. The body of the table has been left unglazed, as with all of Slō’s work, each piece is unique in its own way owing to the method of making and glazing. The studio allows each table to emerge from the extruder with as little input as possible, to encourage them to form their own unique shape.
