    Description

    The “TM3” is part of the first edition of the “Tube Mutations” series which aims to build a collection of simple and ambiguous objects based on the exercise of designing based only on modifications and alterations of steel pipes. The result is a collection of pieces which stand in an intermediate space between sculpture and furniture.

    For these pieces, Rodrigo Bravo F. conceptualized the use of material which belongs to construction and industrial fields such as steel pipe which is intervened through diverse simple and radical operations that allow these materials to be integrated into a new objectual context. The result are pieces that always point to solve a practical operation and integrate a brutalist and concrete aesthetic variable as well.

He leads Bravo, a studio founded in 2005 that works within different fields and scales of design; such as Interior Design and Architecture, Furniture and Product Design.
