Description

This mobile bar cart by NAVE is made of stainless steel and has a strong, geometric presence. Its clean lines and sharp angles give it a solid, functional look, and the surface reflects light with a cool, metallic clarity.
The design features two vertical side panels that frame an open central section with shelves—perfect for storing bottles and glassware. The proportions are well balanced: the solid sides add weight and stability, while the open middle keeps it light and accessible.
The exposed steel, left bare and uncoated, shows its natural variations and texture, giving the piece a raw, honest character. It’s minimal, but not empty—every detail feels intentional.

The bar cart is made entirely of 3mm-thick stainless steel and features wheels at the base. Its parts are bent and welded to ensure strength and stability.

NAVE is a design project founded in 2024 and based in Quito, Ecuador, focused on the continuous exploration of metal. Its first collection, NAV001, investigates the plastic and geometric properties of this material through precise hand-cutting, folding, and bending techniques to create furniture, objects, and architectural elements. The objects, in conjunction with their functionality, are simply the result of a geometric manipulation of metal, where form and purpose emerge from the material itself. This approach highlights the raw expression of the process, balancing sculptural value, production efficiency, and practicality.
