Description

The Recoleta Chair by Costantini Design is named for one of the oldest and illustrious neighborhoods of Buenos Aires, it features a light, angular frame with a caning detail on the back, and can also be made as a bench or booth. Shown in Argentine Rosewood, but available in any solid wood and your choice of fabric or leather.

Its founder and owner, William C Stuart, is a designer and artist who began his career as a multimedia artist and sculptor, practices which continue to inform the work. About William C Stuart William C Stuart (b. 1975, Bronx, NY) is an American artist currently working between New York and Buenos Aires. Graduated Magna Cum Laude from Colgate University with Honors in Studio Art and was the recipient of the John F Fitchen III Art Prize in 1998. Worked independently in Paris in 1995 and 1998. In 2002, he founded Costantini Design. His works span sculpture, furniture, video, painting, photography, writing, and barbecue, among others.
