Aluminium grating is the main infrastructure of the Raster chair by Studio Endurance, to generate a range of modular seating furniture for both indoor and outdoor.
The system is a reversible ‘plug-in’ framework for auto-design that enables the user to edit the objects by reshuffling the parts.
Different sizes upon request.

Structure: press-locked anodized aluminium grating, aluminium tubes, steel hardware.
Cushions: EPDM foam
Aluminium anodization color can be customized.

Antonio Barone (1981) studied Industrial and Exhibit Design at Politecnico di Milano and worked in architecture and industrial design practices including James Irvine and OMA/Rem Koolhaas, as designer of products, furniture and exhibitions. Work includes Knoll’s ‘Tools for Life’ furniture collection and pavilions, exhibition design for ‘Elements of Architecture’ at the 2014 Venice Architecture Biennale and 'Principles', a workplace collection for Unifor.
