Description

The One 25×50 Wall Lamp by Emil Keller is a study in precision and material simplicity, crafted from a single 25cm × 50cm aluminum sheet and assembled using rivets. With its clean, architectural form, the piece transforms raw industrial material into a refined lighting element, where structure and light interact seamlessly.

Designed to enhance both modern and minimal interiors, the One 25×50 balances functional efficiency with sculptural elegance — the design impact lies in the purity of form and thoughtful construction.

About Emil Keller Visit Showroom →

I design to create meaningful beauty: work that comes from significance not just from how it looks, but from the research, context, and questions behind it. My background as a trained bespoke tailor still shapes how I see the world. I learned early that precision is not about perfection; it's about understanding what a material wants to become. This awareness continued in my practice: the realization that everything around us, from a doorknob to traffic lights, results from conscious decisions that can be challenged as well. It made me want to be part of that conversation. Today, I work at the intersections of design, space, and industry. I'm drawn to things that often go unnoticed: how sound organizes space, how materials carry industrial memory, and how production is a web of relationships rather than a straight line. Through objects, spaces, and installations, I translate these abstract systems into something that can be experienced physically. I do not think design needs to have all the answers, but I do believe it can make things perceptible and raise the right questions. Design can reveal how systems work, where dependencies lie and what alternatives might exist out there. What keeps me engaged is the investigation itself: using materials and form to ask questions, to create connections between people and the ideas worth exploring.
