Justyna Bugajczyk UKWIAŁ is an artist based LA. Born in Poland. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in printmaking from the J. Długosz Academy and a master’s degree in photography from the Film School in Łódź. She has participated in numerous photography exhibitions in Poland and abroad, including in Copenhagen, Warsaw, and Berlin. She is the author of the photobook “Helotyzm, czyli przestrzeń zawłaszczona” (“Helotism, or Appropriated Space”), which was showcased at the Circulation(s) festival in Paris. In recent years, the artist has focused on exploring a new medium, clay. In her creative explorations, she concentrates on form, its organic nature, and its impact on color.
