NU is a collection dedicated to the essence of materials, where the studio seeks to allow materials to speak for themselves, both in their natural and processed form, stripped of any cover. The clean lines of the design are intended to highlight the contrast and interaction between the elements. This results in a provocative yet harmonious aesthetic, evoking images of a hot, dystopian universe, as we imagine being described in late 1960s science fiction. The sizing of the pieces takes into account that sixties vision of the human and the home.
