Its knotted, tubular design creates the impression of infinite loops—a subtle homage to Gaetano Pesce’s iconic 2010 “Senza Fine” chair. Available in both glossy and textured finishes, the stool comes in a standard pink color, with custom hues available upon request. Designed for versatility, the Noodle Stool is stackable and easy to clean, making it an ideal addition to restaurants or compact living spaces. Jean-Baptiste Castel, the creative mind behind Gast Studio, skillfully balances craftsmanship and automated processes to produce objects that seamlessly blend digital innovation with analog design.

Within the world of pottery, the evolution from traditional craftsmanship to digital creation signifies a profound departure in technique and the conceptual foundation of the craft itself. Designer Jean-Baptiste Castel plays with the tension between craft and automation through the construction of a series of vases built using the material qualities of CGI. Castel's vases offer a physical embodiment of CGI, inviting the viewer to contemplate the intersection of craftsmanship and the transformative influence of the digital era. More than serving as decorative objects, these vases provoke reflection on the evolving nature of art and technology. Through his exploration, Jean-Baptiste pushes the boundaries of pottery making, ushering in a new stage in his design practice, where the lines between the physical and virtual worlds are beautifully blurred.
