Description

Each an&angel bowl is an individual work of art, mouth-blown using melted glass that comes in various colours and utilizing a technique of fusing two to four layers of glass into one. The special layering technique also allows light to flow between the layers of glass, giving each an&angel bowl a distinct brilliance and style.

Artis Nimanis devoted years of experimentation in his Latvian studio to developing an innovative and exclusive method for combining glass and metal. His technique is a treatment of the material in a high vacuum environment where stainless steel or titanium is transformed into a fog and allowed to naturally settle on the glass surface and, as a final stage, is burned with plasma rays.

The elegance, roundness, and shine of these bowls tie them to the image of the Earth’s natural satellite. They carry the mystery of night and have their own dark side, hiding luminous insights. The levelled surface brings a luxury aesthetic feeling in a classic, perfectly rounded shape. Classic and elegant – an&angel Moon bowl will suit any interior!
