From the artist: I created this piece right after our dog passed away, September 2023. Right after our stay in France with him, knowing that it would be our last holiday together with him. I made a series with the red clay I brought with me that summer, because it reminded me of my childhood holidays in France, where I played with the yellow-orange clay soil, fully immersed in the moment. Much like only little children and dogs can be.
